Gordon-Rushville Public Schools
A School Facility Bond on the
November 3, 2026 Ballot
Registered voters in the Gordon-Rushville Public Schools district will decide whether to approve a $24,850,000 bond to address aging facilities at Gordon-Rushville High School and Rushville Elementary School during the Nov. 3 general election.
What the Bond Would Address
The district's two oldest buildings — Gordon-Rushville High School and Rushville Elementary — have facility needs that have grown beyond what routine maintenance can resolve. Both buildings are approaching or past their expected lifespan, and both have gaps in safety, accessibility, and basic building systems.
If approved, the bond would fund:
-
A new addition and targeted renovations at Gordon-Rushville High School, including a secure main entrance, ADA-compliant access, efficiency updates and replacement of deteriorated building components like plumbing and electrical.
-
A new elementary school addition built directly onto the Gordon-Rushville Middle School, replacing the Rushville Elementary building and providing a secure, safer, more efficient facility for elementary students.
This site is provided by the Gordon-Rushville Public Schools district to help voters understand what the bond would fund, why the district is proposing it, and what it would cost property owners. The bond requires approval by a majority of votes cast. The decision belongs to the voters.
